Weigh In
I stepped on the scale at the gym today and it read 237.4! I have a long way to get down to the weight that I want to be at. My BMI is 212....I'll shoot for 215!
What I eat.
Monday July 18- Day 1
Breakfast: 2 eggs with hamburger meat and onions and bell peppers. Cup of coffee.
AM Snack: Fugi apple
Lunch: Lemon pepper chicken, half of an avocado, berry mix (blue& raspberries), almonds
PM Snack: Carrot (which was not very good, it was hard to get the whole thing down)
Dinner: Grilled pork chops, baked asparagus, tomato, salad w/ balsamic vinegar dressing
Tuesday July 19- Day 2
Breakfast: 2 eggs with hamburger meat. Pico de gallo & guacamole.
AM Snack: Fugi apple
Lunch: Grilled pork chop, steamed broccoli, 2 tomato slices, pico de gallo, and 3 strawberries
PM Snack: Carrots with some almond butter (which happens to be pretty tasty)
Dinner: Baked salmon, baked sweet potato fries, and a salad

Why I'm here!
I am writing this blog to track my adventure towards becoming a more healthy person. I am have working out at the gym for a month and a half now and have seen improvements in both strength and muscle mass, but I have not seen any fat go away. My sister and her husband started the Whole 30 challenge. This is a plan that changes the way that you eat. It cuts out all processed food and makes you eat only things that you could possibly hunt or gather (caveman's diet). My girlfriend and I decided that we both needed to become more fit and we wanted to try out this eating format. We are doing the Paleo Diet, which is like the Whole 30 but is less strict. This blog is gonna tell you about my progress, what I eat, and what difficulties I have along the way.
